Five years after Enter, Japan's champion turntablist DJ Kentaro returns to a changed world. Hip-hop is a different beast; turntables have all but disappeared from most nightclubs. He adapts with a beefy sound heavy on dubstep and drum and bass, with quicksilver cuts leading listeners through a pounding session of breakbeats and sub-bass. Foreign Beggars, MC Zulu and other MCs bring shouty intensity to jump-up crowd-pleasers, but the real highlights are experimental beatscapes like "Lapis Lazuli" and the dizzying scratch routine of "Crossfader," featuring Kid Koala and D-Styles.
